Does the iPhone 3G make the same annoying GSM interference sounds as the iPhone original?

I know most other cell phones do this, too. You know that scrambly electronic buzzing when the phone gets too close to speakers?

Me too. It’s annoying. I would use my iphone in my car for it’s ipod, but when it’s anywhere near the head unit, the beeping begins.
