Is is possible to catch a free show at the Mountain Winery?

The mountain winery is in Saratoga, north of San Francisco, and my friends and I want to see a show there. BUT, it;s ovr $100. Is there any way to hear the show for free, tailgate and still hear the music? Tell me the secret!

I've only been to the mountain winery in Saratoga once, and as I recall, the parking lot is pretty far from the stage.... Seems like your best bet is to make friends with the promoter, sound company, or band - if its not too late :) Sort of related - I know that shows at Shoreline Amphitheater can be heard in backyards all over Mountain View - pretty well sometimes. So, if you have friends on the peninsula, it may be worth looking into.
