ITunes gift cards not working in Canada with Apps?

Response from Apple. “Unfortunately, due to Canadian taxing and sales restrictions, you will need a credit card to purchase apps. We are working on it, but I cannot comment on our progress or our future plans. Contact us again in a few weeks.” Oh poo. Has anyone found a work around this other than using a credit card? Thanks.

I would say that the vast majority of apps you are looking for are also available in the US store. I don’t know if you can credit a Canadian iTs Card to an American account, but it’s worth a shot!

It wont work. If its bought in Canada it wont work in the US store. Ive tried.
