I know I use iPhoto and everytime my phone is attached when I open iPhoto, it asks me to import. Fairly easy. Just like a digital cam.

Connect your iphone with your mac. Then click on the iphone which shows up on itunes. There you have the settings how to sync the different data.

if you don’t want to use iPhoto, you can also start up Image Capture any time your iPhone is plugged in, and it will put all the images from your iPhone anywhere you want.

Check out my iPhone app PhotoToMac. It transfers your camera roll photos to your Mac over WiFi. No cables involved!

Another solution is WiFiPhoto . You can pick and download multiple photos in a single file to any computer over a local network in wifi. Just point your favorite browser to the address displayed. You can even choose compression quality.
