What are some good external hard drive/media centre combos?

I really want to get a LaCinema Rugged once they’re available in Australia. Apparently they’re a good price, it has the outputs I want, nice physical size and nice capacity.

Anyone know of any other good media centres that are of good value?

Output-wise I will need the composite output (that’s the yellow, white and red outputs), but would like to have hi-def such as HDMI as an option.
I will also be using it for regular data storage as well, not just multimedia.

Apple TV is nice but has a smallish hard drive (160GB).

Western Digital just released a nice one except its just a hub and you plug the external HD into its USB ports. Although that means you have the regular data storage too.
