I’m a big fan of homemade egg nog. Although, gin and tonic is pretty much a christmas tree in a glass.
This is a good question soap. I could use a new libation.
My husband’s homemade mead. Mmm mmm! He made a spiced one for the holidays a couple years ago, and it was really good.
Not as good as the rose-petal flavored one we had at our wedding, though.
I made the Martha Stewart snowflake marshmallows with Mexican cocoa that was delicious. Perhaps it could benefit from cinnamon schnapps or something…what would be good in cocoa?
@loser, I have a friend that cannot cook to save her life but she makes the best egg nog ever. Lots of whipped egg whites on the top, like a cloud.
Homemade eggnog with bourbon or brandy & dark rum.
There’s also a great gin cocktail called “Bronx River” on my blog that’s great for cold weather.

good mix of the sacred and the profane. We yank it out of the Christmas decorations on Thanksgiving and play it regularly in the home while sitting infront of an open fire.
