Outlook rules and short strings?

Okay, so I use rules in Outlook 2007. Most times, I try to key off of word(s) in the subject line to auto-move the incoming message to a particular folder.
But this doesn’t work so well for non-unique short strings. For example, if I wanted to catch all messages with subject lines that mention cats, I’d rig a rule to look for “CAT” (it’s case-insensitive).
Outlook being really dumb, it just does a substr comparison and so it will erroneously catch and move other messages with words like “CATerpillar,” “CATegory,” “alloCATion,” “prognostiCATe,” etc. in the subject line, too.
Do you just live with this? Or do you have some creative workaround to weed out the false postives?
