why do dogs like to eat grass?

every once in a while my dog wont stop eating grass when i take her out…any good reason for this?

It could be that her stomach is upset—dogs eats grass to help them throw up. Or it could just be that she likes the taste (my dog does it for that reason).

my dog usually does it to make him throw up, probably because he ate something that doesn’t agree with him.

I think sig102379 is correct that the reason is most often that your dog wants to throw up, however my Aunt’s puppies were eating the grass near a drain pipe and it was draining some water from the kitchen so there could also be other flavors or smells that may cause your dog to eat grass.
