Problems with Mozilla Firefox...

maybe both browsers are competing over , you need to make one of them your primary browser,...look in the options.

I have too many problems with Mozilla. When I open up Mozilla for the first time, it says “page load error”, so I have to just keep clicking “try again” and X out the page and open it again etc. has this ever happened to you? Is this what you mean?

No. The page just remains blank no matter what address I type in.

Maybe your computer is slow or you have a Virus?

Not sure. Internet Explorer usually runs ok.

I have that every once in a while (i.e. I start it, type an address, press enter/click go, then nothing happens), but after closing Firefox and starting it again it works again. Have you tried that already? ;-)

If that’s not it, you might want to delete your Firefox’s profile directory (note: this will delete all of your preferences and bookmarks and history and such, though you can probably back them up if you look for the right files). Not sure where Firefox’s directory is located on Windows, but there’s usually a folder like pxaaf07f.default (that’s mine) in there that contains your profile (note that the letters may vary). If you delete (or just rename) that folder, it might just start working again.

Still nothing. I even tried to re-install it and it’s still not working. Strange.
