Just to label mix CDs and such. When I say use, I obviously know they can write on them, but I mean can sharpies be used as CD pens?
I use Sharpies on mine. I don’t think it hurts them. They do however make “special” markers that are specifically for writing on cds. I just don’t use those. Seems like a marketing ploy.
Sure.
Thanks guys :)
blue sharpie
Been using them for years, no problems.
Now here’s a question. what would you like me to write on it? I’ll take a picture for you :D
lol
or draw…?
Hope so cuz I have about 200 dvds that I wrote on with a sharpie lol
Yes, and if you need to remove the ink, use rubbing alcohol.
I’ve been using a Sharpie® to mark my CDs for quite a long time now. No hay problema.
@cage Write.. “Here’s a slow one for all you Jellies out there..” then draw a jellyfish.
Its fine to use a sharpie on a CD now. It used to cause a problem with older CDs and CD readers.
I’m with @Allie on this one.
On at least one side they can.
Sharipes are the best thing to use on CDs. I haven’t seen one marker that does a better job.
i’ve never used anything but a sharpie on cds/dvds. never had a problem with them..
