How can Flickr be used for free with unlimited photos?

If anyone is interested, these are the differences between free and paid accounts. In response to your question, quit trying to rip off Flickr. Doing the work they do isn’t easy or free, and $25 a year is nothing.

I was joking. I know it is nothing. It is too bad they don’t throw in a t-shirt with the fee. I would happily pay 25$ per year for flickr pro if they tossed in a free shirt.

I don’t think keeping a record of the photo pages would be ripping them off. I could just as well write the URLs down on paper, because Flickr allows the pages to be accessed, as I already explained. So I’m not asking for anything illegal.

As to the comment that 25$ are nothing: I don’t know how much money you’ve got, but for me, even 10$ is a lot. And I don’t live my entire life on the Internet, so I don’t think I should be investing 25$ in every service I use. I don’t like the spending attitude which seems so popular with many people here, especially as some of the recent problems of global economy were partly caused by it. (Of course Flickr is not the cause of the economic crisis, but I like saving money because where I come from, there isn’t too much of it…)

I hope nobody takes this the wrong way I don’t want to insult anybody, its just an explanation as to why I might seem greedy.

i don’t want to sound like a rich snob, but $10 is like monopoly money to me…oh and, spending money is a good thing, it stimulates the economy, won’t you do me a favour and tell me how old you are ?

Well, stimulating the economy by spending money that we don’t have is exactly what got us into that little mess we’re in right now, people say. And well, I don’t know what age has to do with this question, I think the fact that someone knows that it’s best to save money should be known by every child of 8 years.

Of course I don’t mind your answer iwamoto, I just think that we may not have the same budget so it is kind of pointless to discuss whether it is much money or not…just a question of environment; mine is not yours and that’s it.

But you’re right in that for the moment, people should start spending money again to stimulate the economy! :)
