Does anyone know how to insert the page numbers in CS3?

I know that you can have automatic page numbers by inserting them on the master page, but I can’t get it to work. Does anyone know how to make it so it will show each pg number 1234, Thanks!

Thank you! I got it to work. Now does anyone know how to make the page number not start on the very first page? Also, does anyone know what the quickest way to change your documents pagination to french fold?

Pages palette—> numbering and section options

Pagination/imposition can he handled by your print shop.
