If you don’t have the capital you need to fund your business, try family and friends to lend you the capital you need to get started. Make sure that you have a realistic plan and budget for getting the business off the ground and how you intend to pay them back. Whether its by, a cut of your profits or partial ownership in the company. If you still need other financing, try the traditional way of going to a bank for a small business loan. Also check out if your business qualifies for any Federal grants for small business, etc. And last but not least, there is always Angel Investors or teaming up with a business parter/silent partner to fund your endeavor.

Good Luck!

You will need a very good business plan to get any Small business grant money contact your local government and any business foundations in the area – they may send you on a course which will teach you a lot, and help you write your business plan – with funding available at the end of the course. Also, if your business is in certain areas, you may qualify with assistance to get started. The same is also true if you are fairly young – in the UK, the Princes Trust often help people under 24 with startup funding, although it is usually part grant / part loan.
