Why is that my reset button on my CHI iron not working?

I’m going to go out on a limb: It’s broken?

My first chi did that too. i had to hit the reset button a bunch of times & it would only work in certain plugs in my house. If you just bought go exchange it for a different one and try to get a different batch number. I’ve had my new one for probably 6 months & i haven’t had any problems with it at all. But i’ve also used the new paul mitchell express (silver.) It’s amazing.. so much better!
