This is not one store – this is all MacDonald’s stores in Australia, a deliberate policy that has resulted in smaller serving sizes.

@uberbatman the tungsten filament is around 22 inches in length, and heats up to 6,192 degrees F. Lava temps are usually from 700 – 2500 degrees F. So it is four times hotter than the cooler lava, but not the hottest lava.
