I know the owl says “three” but I’m more curious about the real answer. Has anyone actually counted?

I actually did count once, in Junior high, when my friends and I were at summer camp. the numbers varied, and it was long enough ago that I can’t exactly remember…I think it took around 300 or so. At some point we stopped counting!
