Can i use blackberry applications such as email and instant messages if i dont have data plan?

Yes you can, but I would seriously not reccomend it. I once did it and went over my usual rate. It charges you per data recieved and transmitted. I think it’s like 1.99 per 100mbg or something like that, but the price depends on your cellphone carrier.
