Ladies: Would you prefer that your men's legs weren't hairy?

Back in the day when I believed that guys still had “cooties”, I never thought I would actually like it.

It doesn’t bother me.

I wouldn’t mind if men’s legs in generally were slightly smoother, but I’m not asking them to shave.

I don’t really care either way. I would probably get a good chuckle though if I walked in the bathroom and he was sitting on the edge of the tub with his legs lathered up.

I’m not a lady I think I should be able to answer this, but I like guys. And my answer is no. Generally if someone is freakishly hairy, I probably wouldn’t find that attractive in the first place. But my boyfriend has hairier legs than I do and I don’t mind at all; I wouldn’t want him to shave or anything; that would be weird. I kinda like it when people are “natural” (except for of course shaved face and short hair), but I’m not big on tattoos or piercings or any unnecessary shaving or makeup and all that.

Haha this reminds me of my swimmer friend who hates body hair. He waxes and Nairs! (He’s straight by the way)

I think it takes a certain type of guy to rock the hairless look. IMHO it looks best on toned metrosexual guys or tanned, very lean and hard guys like Lance Armstrong. Oh, and obviously if their success in sport demands it (swimmers, divers) that’s OK.

No, it doesn’t matter, unless it’s, like, matted or something.

Of course, this begs the question, “Men, do you wish your woman’s legs were hairy?”

I like my man to be as he is. I wouldn’t like him to shave his legs.

I like them normal, but not too hairy!

I wouldn’t want him to shave his legs, but for pete’s sake, manscape those armpits and chest hair and any other places that your hair is out of control looking like a caveman.

I like my husband just the way he is. Since he happens to be of Japanese ancestry he has very little body hair, although a full head of hair. Well, he used to have ten chest hairs but since his heart surgery he has only one.

The only other guy I was totally serious about in my life was just the opposite. He had hair almost everywhere except the top of his head, the soles of his feet, and the palms of his hands.

Body hair or lack thereof does not make a difference to me at all. I do prefer brown eyes, however.

I don’t mind hairy legs (I prefer them not to be too curly though, just fine smooth ones) but I can’t stand chest and back hair.

If he were naturally not so hairy, then that’s cool. I can’t imagine being with a guy that shaves his legs. Leg hair on men never bothered me, it’s back hair that needs to be taken care of.

Well, if my boyfriend shaved his legs, I would like it, but I don’t mind too much because he’s not that hairy everywhere else. He has the cutest little patch of hair on his chest and no other hair on his torso. It’s GREAT.

I once had a woman come up to me in the employee lounge and ask me to put on my cardigan because the sight of my unshaven underarms made her lose her appitite.

Her behavior was ludicrous @YARNLADY.

Ive shaved for many years (road cycling) all my girlfriends appreciated it.

Though occasionally straight girls are suprised by stubble.

One of my friends went through a phase where she only wanted to date guys who shaved because it meant they were really into cycling (as was she). I think it’s hysterical. I’m a cyclist as well and wouldn’t mind dating a cyclist who shaved, but it does take me by surprise. All of my boyfriends have had leg hair.

I like the fact that my man is quite hairy. In my opinion he’s just right. He’s got natural body hair without being a gorilla. That’s sexy to me!
