WIndows VISTA and my Iphone backup process?

I have Windows Vista and everyone states my backup data is in C:/User/USERNAME/AppData….... I do not see an AppData under this file location. Does that mean my data is not getting backed up?

That location is hidden by default. Unhide it by opening My Computer, select Tools, Folder Options, click the View tab, select “Show Hidden Files and Folders” – click OK.
