I think it is clear that she is struggling with the aftermath of the draconian treatments she has chosen and is trying to show some spirit. The outcome, no matter what we fervently wish, is far from clear. Her bones ache, which is not a normal post-op problem of mastectomies.

You know, I’d “spoken” with her in the past, never even realizing she was sick. It’s probably my stupidity and insensitivity, mind you, but I’m leaning more towards her simply being a real trooper about it. I hope she gets better; I hope I become less insensitive and stupid.

@NewZen You’re NOT insensitive & stupid! Unless you know her “story”, you wouldn’t know she was sick. Chris doesn’t like to talk about her illness. She has more grit than anyone I know. I’ve known her for almost 2 years & I know she just likes to interact with people as normally as she can. She’s tired of dealing with it & talking about it.

@NewZen Nah, you’re not insensitive and stupid. I was facebook friends with her before I had any idea of what she was battling. The only thing to do now that we know is be supportive.
