Why do my wrists and ankles ache?

For the past year or so, I constantly feel like my ankles and wrists need to be “cracked”. It is incredibly uncomfortable—how do I stop it?

Then go to a real doctor.

Are you exposed to pressure changes? Are you exposed to extreme temperature changes? Do you have arthritis? These are some possible causes. There are many others

Try drinking a lot of water. If you are dehydrated, you could have joint problems from that. And even if that’s not the cause, most of us don’t drink enough water, so it couldn’t hurt. Do you smoke?

I drink tons of water all day, and no, I don’t smoke

If you are in your growing years, you could simply be experiencing a version of “growing pains”. Or, you could be sitting too long at a desk where the chair – desk – worktable are not set up ergonomically.
