How come NASA recently said that we don't really have the technology to put man on the moon when we did it in 1969?

Could it be because it was faked to beat the Russians?

The man was on the Moon?...hmmm..that is so strange.I think it was a great action movie. We have a technology to put the man on the Moon, but not to get him back on the Earth.

I’ve tried to find the comment you were referring to, but failed do you have a link.

I believe it’s a funding issue not an ability issue.

China is now preparing for trips to the moon first robotic then manned.

We didn’t land on the moon?!?!

From what I understand, it’s because a lot of the records of the engineering where people figured out what worked and what didn’t work have been completely lost. So we had the technology, but we lost it, and we’d have to spend a lot of time and effort reinventing it.
