Based on your own experiences what’s a good all around workout/crosstrainer shoe that doesn’t cost more than a car payment?

I prefer Asics, but to be honest, you need to go try on shoes because every foot is different. I would suggest going to a store where they actually watch you run in shoes to know if they’ll be good for you or not.
