that’s right America hasn’t started many war but the American government did helped many countries to help them fight the dissident, terrorism.

The U.S. started the War of 1812 by staging an attack on the U.S.S. Maine.

Don’t blame the whole country. I didn’t vote for Bush.

jcs007's avatar

If our president is to blame, then the majority of American people who voted for him in the 2004 elections are to blame as well. They voted to continue his shinnanigans.

allen_o's avatar

The elections were rigged anyway, and they will rig the next one and put that morman idiot in charge

Riser's avatar

Not saying that I disagree about rigged elections but you think Romney will be put into power?

segdeha's avatar

Romney dropped out of the race a while back.

@allen_o, Anyway, what difference does it make if he’s Mormon? Religious bigotry is shameful in a nation that was founded on the principle of religious freedom. As it is, it’s only possible to get elected if you’re some stripe of Christian. Christians aren’t the only ones with good ideas, they’re just the only ones allowable by the religious right that has hijacked American politics.

allen_o's avatar

have you ever read into mormanism? You would have to be an idiot to believe that

segdeha's avatar

@allen_o, I’m an idiot for thinking it’s OK for people with different religious views to hold office? Everything I know about Mormonism I learned from South Park, yet I still think the guy deserves to be judged on the merit if his ideas (which stink, IMHO), not his religion.

There are better ways to present an argument than name calling. Grow up, ya big weiner doo-doo head.

allen_o's avatar

hahaha, I really got to you didn’t I

Riser's avatar

Some stripe of Christian? Are you talking about a politician standing up at the podium and announcing he’s a Christian? Few of those men are Christians.

segdeha's avatar

Excellent point, Riser. Most politicians are “Christian” for the purposes of appearing to relate to a slice of the electorate. I find that oddly comforting, actually.

Riser's avatar

And it just shows how the majority of that “slice of electorate” are easily instructed.

Dan

P.S. That was not an attack on Christians.
