How do I convert an .rmvb file on my Mac?

Asked by bhec10 (6458points) May 4th, 2010

If there isn’t any application available, can I watch them on my Mac? If so, what’s the application for that?

If this doesn’t work, then the output format should ideally be .mp4 but any other is fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

What you have is a RealMedia file. This player will play it. I am not aware of any way to convert Real Media into another format.

Thanks @gtreyger, Real Player works great with these files!

If someone else knows how to convert them into other formats on a Mac, please tell me!

Thanks!

@maccolar Thanks for the answer. Does it convert .rmvb files? If it does I can’t find it…

It doesn’t. I am fairly sure that RealMedia cannot be converted.
