Well I would think that the most important aspect of this whole thing is your personal preference. If you like the neat & clean thing for yourself (and not just because it’s “the in thing”) then I would think the laser makes a whole lot of sense as bulbatron9 pointed out. But not just when talking about the cost but also the inconvenience of having to keep up with it, and the sheer amount of time spent dealing with your “personal grooming” needs. Plus, I would imagine the process isn’t all that much fun, and is likely somewhat awkward right? Just seems like a big hassle to me.
On the other hand, if you mainly stay neat because you’re accommodating a significant other or just trying to keep up with the latest trends but have no personal preference either way, then I can see your point about “bush confidence.” It’s your body though, and it really should be up to how you want to be and not so much what other men/women think.
As for the likelihood of the bush coming back into style… I’d be willing to bet at least 10:1 against. Part of the reason for the current trend’s popularity is because as women have taken control of their sexuality in recent years, men have needed to be more accommodating to their needs (and rightfully so). One of these accommodations being oral sex, something that definitely benefits from the current fashion.
If you’ve noticed the current trend is for women to get less hair over the years (not more). It started with the legs, and then the armpits (or maybe it was the other way around). Currently the bikini wax is popular. I’m worried that if the current trends keep going, in 100 years women will have no eyebrows and be bald as well :P Remember that scary picture of Scary picture of Britney Spears?
