I do not have a server and I don’t know how to set up a VPN on my XP computer. Is there a way you can use just the computer as a server?

In order to answer this, I need to know exactly what VPN is, and if you still have this problem, as your original Q was posted around 6 months ago.

I don’t think that the computer can be the “server,” because the server is found on the Internet, and the computer is just something that gets connected to the Internet, via a server, like a Cable TV company (in my case) or a telephone company with a dial-up or DSL connection.

Please don’t accept my words as “gospel,” because what I don’t know about computers, is more than what I do know.
