I like to drink frozen drinks in the summer but hate when I get brainfreeze.

Wait for it to end or just drink them slower. That’s what I do.

Actually there is a cure. When I was told about it I thought the person telling me was full of crap, but I tried it and it worked.

The nerve that is affected can be suppressed by pressing your tongue as hard as you can against the roof of your mouth. The ‘brain freeze’ or ‘ice cream headache’ goes away very quickly.

You’ve got a brain? I’ve been cheated.

mikebrowne is pretty much right. Its all about getting the blood that’s ciculating through your brain to a reasonable tempature. Whichever means works best for you.

Tounge, mouth full of hot water, etc.

rub your hard and soft palate (roof of the mouth) with your tongue. The friction causes the brain freeze to dissipate almost immediately.

Drink something warm. It works. Just warm tap water.

I’d really LOVE to read the remarks that were deleted…
