What is tetrazene? Nutrient? Explosive? Is it used for anything practical or is it just a cool word?

I can understand why you would be confused. From what I have (possibly wrongly) deducted, this tetrazene is one thing – some sort of explosive, like you said – whilst the ‘Tetrazene’ that pops up when you google it is some sort of dieting pill.

I guess the NutraQuest (who manufacture Tetrazene™) called it so to create the whole ‘fat blasting’ image. Or something.

I’ve always enjoyed turkey tetrazene.
