  When do you expect a major spelling reform of the English language?

  Rather than revising English spelling, I think adopting the Unifon alphabet would be a better way to go. Initially more painful, of course, but the spelling would be far “cleaner”. The German Rechtschreibreform is pretty clumsy when concerning imported words… When “teenager” is hyphenated, for example, it’s rendered as “tee-nager” instead of the logical “teen-ager”.

  I can't seem to get the updated flash player installed so YouTube videos will work - help?

  I had the same problem! Then I read on the Adobe site that you must first uninstall your older Flash Player before installing the new one. If you don’t already have one, the Uninstaller can be downloaded from Adobe. This worked for me.

  What is the best or cleverest way to open a beer bottle?

  From the top, usually. ;-) And I prefer using my lighter to a “real” opener.

  I understood “meaning” (in the original question) to equate with “reason for” – not “value of”.
