Thanks for your kind words :) I hope you enjoy Metafilter. Indeed, it is much more concise and far less drivel than you find here. The main section of the site (the blue page) always has interesting and fun posts, and even their MetaTalk section makes for great reading. Enjoy!
Thanks for the tip; it never hearts to have too many memory cards.
The photo is one of my many water drop experiments, that particular one I tuke with my old point and shoot. I used my macro lens, and they are just 3 water drops at 1/2500 sec. here is one of my favorite water drop experiments http://www.flickr.com/photos/cyrb7/2905731550/
What kinds of things do you like taking pictures of? I like macro, landscape, and I am just starting to experiment with portraits. Whenever you get a chance I would like to see some of your pictures,
Just to let you know I will be away for the next several days.

Where did you come up with “#3175”? I can’t find any photos numbered #3175, or anything else numbered #3175 for that madder.
D90, NICE! I have the D80 and love it. I have taken #16829 pictures with my D80; most in RAW and they take up WAY too much space.
If we don’t take thousands of pictures, what is the point of digital? You definitely will get something good if you try hard enof (or just get lucky). One time I tuke #200 pictures at one sunset ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/cyrb7/1306410422/ ).
Oh, about the “text”. I didn’t say the text was “crystal clear” I only said it was readable, not that it shouldn’t be larger.
Feel free to send me any photos you like, I would love to see them!
