Good lord people! The reason that nationalism leads to confrontation is simple. Once you have decalred your citizenship to a nation that nation is entilted to your taxes. Duh. Works like tithe in church, community association fees, and any other membership which can take your money, posessions, and property. The question is ages old and sick as every religious war….your loyalty means gain and thus there is confrontation to obtain it. Sad social truth.
