Thanks for liking gribbenes. I thought of explaining it and then thought it would be mroe fun to see if anyone knew them. On rye bread with the fresh chicken fat, they were delicious. My mother is 90 and doesn’t cook any more; I think my brothers might make them but I never have (and am now quasi-vegetarian.)
