Hello folks. The name is Dominic, the age is 20, the occupation is a student of linguistics and religious studies (and a dabbling in philosophy). I live in Palo Alto, CA and have lived in the Bay Area for most of my life. My birthday is August 24th.

I’ve been on various Q&A-style internet sites since I was 14. It started with AIWOR/AIROW, then wis.dm, then Fluther. This site has been my favorite of the three.

I am homosexual (not in a relationship) and a major supporter of gay rights and the pro-LGBT movement. Politically I am center left, tending toward libertarianism. I consider myself an agnostic and am interested in mysticism, Gnosticism, and religious and Biblical criticism.

My primary field of interest is linguistics, with specific emphasis on the history and classification of languages, morphological structure, and the language of Latin. I hope some day to create my own language modeled on what I’ve learned.

I’m somewhat argumentative and certainly highly opinionated. I enjoy debating almost any topic and believe there is little that shouldn’t be discussed.
