Regardless of who did what, I think we can both agree that the system is screwed up beyond band-aid solutions, but the status quo is likewise unacceptable, at least to the majority (the minority who is reaping the benefits won’t complain, obviously). That said, I don’t think corporations had anything to do with that one; history is full of screwed up leaders.
Unfortunately, we have a history of pendulum swings and over-correction, so things will suck no matter what. We’ll either have more of the same or someone like Palin at this rate. Either way, we’re screwed.
