  Would you support a fat tax for airplane seats?

  Whoa, let’s make one stop at the “politically correct name station” first. How ‘bout a volume tariff? Okay, you can tell by my photo that I’m pretty damn physically fit, but the problem with this is virtually the same as singling out any group of people. Someone will undoubtedly scream discrimination! If some big turd can sue freakin’ McDonalds for being fat, than the sky is the limit. I honestly think that the government should get more involved in raising awareness in regards to health. This can be done through subsidies to companies that manufacture (grow, raise etc) and sell food. Parents, learn, then educate your children!!! In many arenas, knowledge is indeed power. I was raised to be fit, and most likely would have died in 2005 had I not been in the condition I was in.

  Have you ever been stalked on/onto fluther?

  I’ve often wondered how an individuals life can be so incomplete, and meaningless, that a person would spend even one moment tracking someone else down via the Internet. Granted, I have had numerous run-ins with people before, but none was so astute as to impact me so greatly that I could give them another thought. Clearly, this person is damaged goods, and surely has some deep-seated issues. The expenditure of vital mental energy chasing someone through Cyberspace is the height of narcissistic, passive aggressive bumfriggery that an adult could participate in. Take solice in one thing; this person’s motivation stems from an intellectual and academic superiority on the part of the stalked. This person feels beaten, outclassed, outloved, and sometimes helplessly dominated by people who could not possibly affect their life. Such people are an unfortunate waste of good drinking water and clean air. Leave more for us, Stalker Dude!!!

  I’m wondering why everyone thinks this question is exclusive to Fluther. I stated that I’ve been on many similar sites, right. Gailcalled, the question WAS regarding BR, so that is the ONLY correct response! I’m done here, seriously. Just tired ofseeibngf people give a positive rating to silly nonsense. As I said before, “I don’t know” was a great answer? See ya, seriously. That’s not arrogance. Please excuse me for having sought a place where intelligent interaction is thse standard. I’m sure Fluther can be a really cool site, but the community has to strive to make it that way. That’s clearly not on everyone’s mind here. Best of luck, but it’s time for me to unsubscribe.

  Askville.com by Amazon. Fluther ripoff?

  I guess I’m a litle strong willed. I tend to speak my mind, and criticize where it seems fit. Some people don’t handle criticism well. That makes the Internet a bad place for people like that. Don’t get me wrong, I’m just as assertive face to face, whereas some people will use the anonymity of the Internet as a wall to hide behind. I believe people should speak there mind, but not everyone thinks as I do. I’m particularly offended by really bad information, trolls and especially spammers. I think the last straw was me calling a troll a troll in the discussion of one of his troll questions. I won’t post the precise wording here, but he was wondering what God might think of his constant need/ desire to pleasure himself. That is an obvious troll, and behavior like that shouldn’t be tolerated on any message board. I can go back in November, but I have less and less time to dedicate to this kind of thing lately.
