Can anyone else make a click-ish noise in their ear?

Congrats on your Pilgrim badge!
Regarding your answer:
cool, thank you!
I just checked the net to see if I could get you a phone number for the archives at the Examiner but I found their website very unsatisfactory – it seems to mainly be only their online version or how to stop delivery. Good luck with it!
La Chica,
I’ve just done some research on your question to no avail. I could not find The Examiner indexed anywhere in the database we have for that – LexisNexis Academic for news. I did search WorldCat and found only books published by The Examiner. Then I looked at Book Review Digest and Book Review Index and found references and digests of reviews of the book, but not that one. Failing all that, I went back to something I’m sure you’ve done, and tried an internet key word search which brought up the quote many times, but no further attribution. So I’m not sure if a library can help you.
I think your best bet at this point is to contact the Examiner (is it still in publication?) and see if they have an archivist who can help you. There may also be a Neruda Society with someone who can help you; I did a quick search with little results but maybe you can find one on the internet.
And now I have to get to my real work!
Your cool!
