  Exclusive means exclusive. It means you commit your mind, heart, and body to one person. It does not mean one person gets your mind and heart, and another gets your body.

  Of course not. To do that would mean you’d have to go back and look at every single call (and every single non-call) in every game that was ever played. It would invalidate every recordbook ever recorded. The game was played. A bad call was made (or not made). That’s life. Move on. If it can be demonstrated that the ref had it in for that one particular team/player, and intentionally made a bad call, then he should be suspended at the least, possibly fired. That’s to help insure fairness in all future games. But it doesn’t reverse the outcome of the games already played.

  Teachers/Former Teachers...Are you still in the profession? If you chose to quit, when and why?

  You will likely find that there is “so much more b.s. involved” in any profession you go into. I was an adjunct instructor at a college up until this semester, when budget cuts forced them to eliminate the salaries of various adjuncts. I enjoyed it, and would happily return if I was asked again.

  Would appreciate tips on reading someone else's code and understanding it .

  @OutOfTheBlue You’ve been coding for “almost 10 years”, where exactly? Certainly not in any professional environment, in a company of more than 10 people. When you have a company of thousands of people, co-workers get fired, promoted, reassigned, etc. Having the programmer who wrote the code 5 years ago is frequently not an option. Writing an all new application is idiotic if all that is required is a 3 line fix. Telling your boss that you have to spend 3 weeks to write a program that does 99% of what the existing program does because you can’t understand the original program is going to get you fired real quick.
