I am a 41 year old married mother of two wonderful boys. I’m married to my college sweetheart for the past 17 years. We live in northern MN but both grew up in western ND. I love music and play piano, solely for my own enjoyment. I also love to sing in my church choir.

Throughout the centuries when Latin was the lingua franca of thought and communication, the works of Cicero (106–43 B.C.) were the universal model for style. As well as providing vivid pictures of ancient Rome, Cicero’s speeches and letters have had more influence, if indirectly, on the means of expression than any other writer. When Latin was superseded by the vernacular tongues, Cicero’s influence was transmuted into the new languages.[PMM] This edition was produced when the Aldine Press was being ably carried on after Aldus’ death by his family; note the title page attribution of margin annotations to “Pauli Manutii.”
