  What is the funniest word your child made up?

  When my siblings and I were kids, we made up- no, we messed up words. I still remember when we were sitting at the dining table watching TV and my brother wanted to turn the volume down. He started going, “Turn down the voiloom! Turn down the voiloom!” I started cracking up and unfortunately that only made him madder. He started jumping up and down shouting “Lower it up! Lower it up!” As you can guess, that only made the rest of us go into hysterics. We did get it down eventually, but I think he was sore for quite some time after that. Another time on a road trip to New York we were having one of those in-the-car conversations when my sister asked for bubblegum. Except she called it “Bum-dee-gum”. We still occasionally bring that up just for laughs.

  How are you with brain teasers?

  Brain teasers like the awards ones aren’t my thing for some reason. They feel too much like maths for maths sake and they make me feel stupid. @ItalianPrincess1217 Well it depends on which month it was. If it was February you’d have $2,684,354.56. If it was a 30-day month you’d have $10,737,418.24. If it was a 31-day month you’d be $21,474,836.48. In any case you’d be filthy rich.

  What does it say about the collective when a funny answer gets far more lurve than the actual answer to the question?

  It says that we’re human. We love a joke, and sometimes the serious answers just get us down back to Earth. People generally don’t really like that (necessary as it may be) when they’re on Cloud Humour. Furthermore, appropriate humour just shows witticism and can make a serious situation light-hearted enough. @augustlan Oh I like to reward the joke and the really good answer too, but when they’re both together, as the first answer, the lurve just pours down and down and down (I still smile when seeing that).
