Regarding your answer:
We don’t have wakes here in Australia. I didn’t attend simply because of my new religion. Tanya is angry at me because she thinks my religion should not stop me from going to the funeral. I will add here that the friend who died (Dot) hated my new religion and actually threw me out of her flat when she found out I had converted.
