Hi. Your question is a great one. Actually no one is every charged for an app once the limited free period is over. If you get it for free, you will always have it for free. Also, most apps, especially ones like Jirbo, are very explicit that it’s “FREE for a limited time”. That doesn’t mean you’ll ever be charged. It simply means that you can get it now for free, but if you wait then you will have to pay. This is a very common practice to give the users a chance to get it free. :-)
