Descartes’ argument is flawed because he forgets to mention that he perceives he thinks. His perception could be flawed and likely is. All that can be inferred from Descartes is that perception of thinking exists and that something or things might be perceiving, but this does not establish the existence of an individual, God, etc.

I meant to say, you’re right (I did say that, actually) – non-candidate Michelle Obama’s clothes aren’t equivalent to candidate Sarah Palin’s. So far so good? So then I tried to say, Let’s compare Palin, a candidate, to the other candidates, Senators Obama, McCain and Biden, whose clothes were not bought for them by their constituents.
Did I say this a little better this time?

  Why do people like Macs?

  A lot of the aspects of the GUI that are frequently referred to as “eye candy” are actually useful. Take, for example, the genie effect. Whenever a window is minimized or a toolbar is closed, the genie effect shows you exactly where you need to go to get it back. I can’t count the times that I’ve seen people using Windows accidentally close a toolbar and then say, “Where did it go? How do I get it back?” If they’re computer illiterate, they just give up on getting the toolbar back. If they know what they’re doing, they’ll still have to waste a second or two to find the right button (and, using Office on a PC for years, I know that it’s not always easy to find a button; I swear half the time I opened Word the toolbars would be in a totally different layout than I had left them).

  @amaze122 It sounds like what you want is just normal playlists. Just create a playlist with the plus sign at the bottom left corner of iTunes. If you want to make a folder, just go to File -> New Playlist Folder.
