You seem to be a financial kind of guy. What year was the savings and loan disaster? Wasn’t it the late 80’s or early 90’s? What I really remember is working for a small bank at the time, they were lending money to people to have them reinvest it in the bank. I wasn’t there the day they led the chairman away in handcuffs. Is it worth asking if anyone thinks we’re headed that way again?

If we had stayed in Southern California I was planning to work as a real estate agent, funny how things turn out.
