  My words rained over you, stroking you. A long time I have loved the sunned mother-of-pearl of your body. I go so far as to think you own the universe. I will bring you happy flowers from the mountains, bluebells, dark hazels, and rustic baskets of kisses. I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees.

  There actually is a Neruda poem with a similar moment in it...the last line of poem XIV of his Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair...here's the last stanza:

  Does anyone know how to make really great pad thai?

  Ok, I will try it and report back. And I appreciate your comment about color...I tried to make pad thai about a year ago, and although the flavors were fine (though too mild for my taste) it turned into a very pale grey, and seemed distasteful. I'll let you know how this works. Thanks, Ben.
