  Why does iTunes backup my iPhone every time I sync?

  From what I understand, this is a result of Apple forcing all apps into their own “sandbox” and not allowing them to write info to other parts of the phone. All changes have to be saved into the app’s own code and therefore the entire app has to be backed up in order to save your data. Crappy move on Apple’s part and now my sync takes 20 minutes.

  Do you have a song or saying that always seems to get stuck in your head?

  Every couple of days it’s the bassline to “Brickhouse.” Totally at random and I utterly hate that song.

  Does anyone know of any good photoshop tutorial sites?

  http://psdtuts.com will walk you through specific projects. Most are cheesy but they’re generally good exercises.

  Rock Band or Guitar Hero III setlist?

  The downloadable content alone puts Rock Band in its own class. It allows the developers to take bigger risks with their song choices (the entire “Doolittle” album, for example) and keeps the game fresh.

  Has anyone ever ENJOYED working retail?

  I worked as an assistant manager for a toy store in a mall for some time. It was stressful, like any job, but I enjoyed it for the most part. There were a lot of things about that job that I wouldn’t expect to love, but did. Our in-house music, for example. And, like TheHaight, I had really incredible co-workers. Plus, we were constantly working around toys and kids. Not too bad. The mall food packed on a few pounds, however.
