  How can I demoldify books that were in a moldy basement?

  We used this stuff called “Scott’s Liquid Gold Mold Control 500” it’s scary stuff. But works amazingly well—we weren’t using it on books, but on particle-board (Ikea) furniture that had been in storage. It won’t undo any actual damage, but it will completely kill and remove any mold on both porous and non-porous surfaces. It may also lift the inks and/or eat the paper, but it might work. I would treat one page at a time, outside, and build some sort of rig to hold it while it dries.

  They’re not actors, sadly enough. The way these shows work is very carefully orchestrated to maximize the explosive anger, both by careful selection of the “guests” and by some careful stage management backstage. Essentially, when you’re backstage as the “evil angry person” what you see and hear (and get to eat/where you sit, etc.) is very carefully controlled so that you are as angry (or whatever they need) as possible.

  What can you carry hot liquids with?

  Traditional thermos is a glass vacuum inner container (glass is made from quartz sand, no oil there, and you can make it by burning coal or wood), with a metal outer shell to keep the glass from breaking if you drop it. The metal outer shell can be stainless steel for long life, which you can again make with coal coke and some ore. I would be concerned that the siggs top is made from plastic (although that could corn oil based plastic, which would circumvent the whole question, I think)
