Thank you for the info. I just got out of the hospital and it hurts but am afraid to take too many pills as I have Cirrhosis. And because of this my potent enough pain pills.I am not selling them on the street or trying to get high and I just don’t understand his problem with giving me enough to kill the pain. This seems to ba happening to a lot of people today because their children steal the pills.I certainly can’t get addicted to codeine with the little bit he prescribes. Maybe he thinks lying about the pain, I don’t know but it really pisses me off. Thinking about filing a complaint with the AMA or the appropriate agency.But I need him because he is a very good doctor in all other respects. Thanks for listening to me complain. :)

  Would you rather live your life by belief, emotion, or reason and why?

  You can’t live by just one. If I were to pick I would say belief that way you will know the outcome since the belief is always the same. You never second guess when you go with the belief. Acting on emotions can work well like in couples interacting lovingly doing things to show they care. Making decisions based on emotions like hurt, jealousy, and anger are often the wrong choice and can make things worse. It can be hard but try and not say things that are emotionally charged until you have calmed down and can think then try and resolve the issue without raising voices and anger. Reason is not something I would live by on its own. Doing things by reason and belief make for a very boring robotic person. Being able to reason and figure things out is what makes some people very good at certain professions. A mechanic has to eliminate what isn’t wrong when he tries to fix a car. Through his reasoning skills and tools he can eliminate the fuel filter, fuel injectors, spark plugs, distributor cap, and wire The mechanic has reasoned so far it is something in the catalytic converter. Emotion couldn’t of solved the catalytic converter. You might have an idea whats wrong with a car but you have to reason and figure out how to get to the defect and then how to take the car apart to get the broke part then remember how it goes back together. Living by belief can be dangerous . Some beliefs are good. Be a good person. Help others. Some beliefs hold you back like racism, fear of gays, believing you need a car to drive 4 blocks to get a loaf of bread. My consensus is there is no way to live just one of those traits. You would either be like my dad who has his right wing beliefs and I can count on him like clockwork to do the same thing from the moment he gets up til he goes to bed. My beliefs are always open to change Living by emotion alone will make you crazy. Feeling what you feel is fine. Having the wits to know your mad or upset will help you. It can be hard but leave a confrontation as soon as possible and keep your mouth shut. Cool down and rehearse what you want to say in a calm nonthreatening manner. Reason is prolly the best one but I believe we need emotion, belief, and reason. Reason is why im typing this on a macbook. Reason is why people have evolved physically and technologically. Reason created super wheat and corn. Reason created nukes and missiles. You can’t live on one of these. I would try reason though. Emotion will just get you in a fight. Belief will get you in an argument. Hah I changed my view of I preferred reasoning at the first and now im a belief guy. My beliefs are subject to change.

  Is it okay to just show up at your SO's house?

  Maybe he is busy trying to make some money or helping a friend move or working on his car. I wouldn’t drive an hour to see him yet. Call him back in a couple hours. I have been with my gf for almost three years. Sometimes I don’t feel like hanging. Sometimes I get busy and I forget to call. I try too call but she understands or at least don’t get mad for long. I don’t want to spend every minute im not working with her and she feels the same. My opinion is don’t show up. I like to know when my girl is coming over so I can clean, make the place smell good, wash the sheets and bedspreads, and i can get some old school booty bumpin music playing

  Have you ever spent a week in a tent?

  The tent is the worst part. Practice putting it up and down before you go camping. They can be tricky. It will save frustration when your in the woods and you know exactly how to put it up. If your driving in to a campground in a park or something you can bring more comforts. I usually get a bale of hay or straw from a farmer and put it under my tent. You can get air matrressee or foam pads to go under the sleeping bags. If you hiking in you will not be carrying hay bales, or air matresses just the basics because that stuff is heavy. If the weather is clear try sleeping out in the open under the stars. This time of year is my favorite time to camp. The leaves are pretty. Its just a chilly enought to enjoy a fire with a sweatshirt or light jacket. Roast marshmallows. Have fun!

  Have you ever spent a week in a tent?

  I love love to camp, hitchhike, bike, and hike for several months. Yes I have spent many weeks in tents or building my own shelter. Im an eagle scout. Be Prepared. I wanted to travel and camp since I was a scout? How much would traveling frugally cost me for 6 months if anyone has done it?

  Is there such a thing as self control? (Details Important)

  I love to shoot morphine, heroin etc. I think about it 100 times a day. I threw my syringes away one day and decided I don’t want that habit it or let it control me. Something controlling me thats not benefiting me and is inanimate is silly. I have self control. I chose not to shoot dope. Its all around me. I chose not use because I am in control not my drug addiction. It is very easy to lose self control. I have been there before too.
