  How do I fix this problem of a pink/green tint on my laptop screen?

  Unless you’re a technician, replacing the screen yourself will not be fun or easy. As has already been said, it’s probably going to cost more to fix it than a new laptop – it’s more than likely the display itself, the display cable (possibly lvds) or the inverter. Probably not what you want to hear, but with the system getting to be close to 4 years old, it’s really not worth fixing. Most people don’t want to accept that in laptop years, that’s pretty ancient.

  It seems to me that it is easy to tell somebody's political affiliation if they use a Mac. Why is this?
