  What foods are easy to digest?

  This is what my naturopath subscribed: it sounds horrible but you drink rice water (boil brown rice and drink the water). Also try very diluted apple juice for a day or two until your stomach calms down. Then introduce other foods like oatmeal, very ripe bananas and boiled carrots. Avoid dairy, saturated fats, sugar, alcohol, caffeine and red meat for a while.

  Has anyone been to The Coachella Music Festival?

  I went 2 years ago (the year that Rage headlined). Was a great experience, but the heat just about wiped me out (I’m from Canada – not used to 110 degree weather). Just drink lots of water and make sure you check out a lot of bands – I always discover fantastic new music at festivals. Everything was well organized inside the venue and the crowds were not bad at all (Lollapolooza is much more crowded). My only bad experience was with the campground, but since you have hotel rooms you should be good.

  What are some of the most acclaimed live bands?

  Muse – by far the best! Pure talent and incredible sound. I agree with @aprilsimnel both Arcade Fire and the Hives are fantastic live. I’m not huge fans of either band but really enjoyed their shows. Also great that I’ve seen recently: Spoon, The Kooks, The Shins, Travis, Editors, Kaiser Chiefs – and most of these bands’ shows are under $30.
